I’m a young, training-to-be-a-pastor, student at Geneva College, majoring in Christian Ministries, with minors in Sociology and Biblical Languages. I believe God has called me to minister as a pastor, to serve His people with the care, counsel, and challenges that have been entrusted to the elders of the church. Particularly, I believe that my calling is to Pittsburgh – the city where God has placed me.

I was raised by Christian parents in Pittsburgh. My faith was encouraged and fed through the love and care of my mother and grandmother (yes, reminiscent of a certain Biblical young, training-to-be-a-pastor individual). God saved me in August 1997, at eight years of age and He began to work even more on teaching me His Word. He gave me a commitment to understanding His Word, but also to loving the gifts of His Spirit as they are given today so that the Church can be built up and brought to maturity.

At sixteen, I started reading up on Jewish sources. I became intensely committed to the necessity of Old Testament lenses to understand New Testament concepts. As I like to say, I learned reformed theology from Jewish rabbis.  And in August 2007, I made the move to Providence Church, in partnership with Sovereign Grace Ministries. As a member there, I have seen God work in my life to teach me what it means to be part of a body of believers and to relate to people at a bunch of different levels.
